It all started in the late 70's / early 80's. I bought my first bike when I was 14, after destroying my sister's bicycles. I wanted to buy a car, but my parents wouldn't let me. I had to repair my own bicycle myself since there were no bicycle shops close by. I won my first race on that bike. I started working for a bicycle shop in 1985 to support my bicycle racing habit. I moved to Calgary in 1998. I have since worked for some of the largest bicycle shops in the country.
